NOVA - Outgassing 2
- Current Status: Up
The Quantachrome NOVA 1200 performs rapid and accurate sorption measurements of a gas on particle surfaces using an appropriate coolant. The surface area of the particulate media can be determined using this principle. Prior to gas adsorption, the powder sample is degassed and dried in a vacuum at elevated temperatures. Time should be reserved separately for outgassing samples at no charge. It should be noted that outgassing of a sample cannot be started if the instrument is currently analyzing another sample. To avoid scheduling conflicts, both the NOVA 1200 and NOVA - Outgassing 1 reservation calendars should be consulted prior to making a reservation for NOVA - Outgassing 2.
