Testbed Hopper
- Current Status: Up
The Testbed Hopper apparatus can be used to measure the wall loads in scale bins and hoppers using novel pressure tape measurements. Up to 2064 independent solids contact measurements can be made simultaneously along with gas pressure profiles, solids flow rates, velocity profiles, and material levels. The hopper section can easily be replaced to study various hopper configurations in both steady flow and transient operation.
