NARA NHS-0 Hybridization System

The NHS-0 Hybridization System is used to coat small quantities of material through the embedding/filming process. The process called mechano fusion relies on kinetic energy and cohesiveness of the fine particles which causes them to adhere to the larger substrate particles. The fine fraction should be at least an order of magnitude smaller than the particles to be coated. It is used to process powders in the size range of 1 - 500 m.
