Johanson Hang-Up Indicizer

The Johanson Hang-Up Indicizer is a uniaxial, bulk solid, strength tester that measures the unconfined yield strength of a bulk material. Current tester configuration will allow testing of materials with particle sizes less than 1/4-inch. It will also measure arching and rathole indices (AI and RI) used in process design and material characterization. The computer control testing method enables quick measurement of basic strength properties as a function of consolidation pressure and storage time.
